Hello, I’m Nay Chevalier, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), and I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope. I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward emotional wellness and personal growth.
With nearly 20 years of experience in education and human services, I bring a unique blend of professional expertise and genuine care to the counseling process. Since 2005, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including public schools, psychiatric hospitals, rehabilitation centers, domestic and sexual violence shelters, homebound instruction programs, and other medical and residential environments. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many challenges people face and strengthened my commitment to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
I hold a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership in Mental Health and Human Services from Houston Christian University, as well as a Master of Education in Educational Administration and a Master of Arts in Counseling. In addition, I maintain several professional certifications, including school counseling certification, allowing me to support clients across various ages, life stages, and circumstances.
My areas of focus include trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, depression, stress management, domestic violence, coping skills, family and relationship concerns, and crisis intervention. Whether you are working through a difficult life transition, healing from past experiences, or simply seeking greater balance and fulfillment, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely.
My goal is to help clients build resilience, discover their strengths, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
I work with Children (6+), Adolescents, Teens, Adults, Couples, and Families in the following areas:
